Happy Holidays

Hi Guys,

I have not done a good job of keeping this updated but I will do a better job starting now.
Tonight is the Randleman Christmas parade, we have the boat all decked out and ready to go so look for BO and say hey.

I don't have much going on with with fishing other than getting ready for 2013 and Lake Okeechobee in early January. Fishing had been pretty good around here this fall since it's been kind of warm the fish are still biting.

Hope everyone has a great holiday season!

Late Summer

Hi Guys. Sorry it's been a while since my last post things have been pretty hectic.
I haven't been able to have the kind of results I had hoped for in the month of July and there's not much going on in August so I'm going to spend the next month working some kinks out so hopefully I can get things back on track for a busy September. The fishing has been very weird this summer, seems like the fish are really spread out and it's a problem just to get a few bites much less worry about catching any weight. Congrats to Steve Sink though he has pretty much wore everyone out this summer at High Rock. Looks like we have some cooler weather coming so maybe that will get them fired up. Hope everyone gets a chance to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

High Rock

What's up? Hope everyone is enjoying the cool summer we are having so far this year. The last few weeks have been pretty busy. Dave Farrington and I fished the Carolina Bass Challenge on High Rock two weeks ago and and was fortunate enough to get a top 10. That is one of the best team trials I have ever heard of, they do a great job and even have a cook out for everyone at the weigh in. This past weekend I fished the BFL and nabbed the last check in 15th place. It was a tough day and I was just glad to get out of there with a check. In both events I caught my fish on a Dave's Tournament Tackle Arkie jig in the Blue Oyster color. Fishing it around piers and other shallow cover. With all the rain we've had this year there's really no reason for the fish to leave the bank. Going to fish the next BFL at High Rock in 2 weeks and then spend a lot of time close to home for the next few months. Good luck out there!

High Rock

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone was able to get out on the water this weekend and enjoy the nice weather. I had a great weekend. Tony Garrita and I went out on High Rock yesterday to finish up a story that will be in the August issue of  North Carolina Sportsman. Usually when he brings the camera the fish stop biting but yesterday we caught several and even had a couple of good one's for the the magazine so everything turned out pretty good. High Rock is fishing pretty tough right now but things should get better and better as we get away from the spawn. There is a BFL down there on Saturday that I am planning to fish so I'm going to get back down a few more times this week. Good luck to everyone and have a great week.      IT'S BO TIME

FLW Table Rock Lake Day 1

Whats up guys? Sorry its been so long since I posted, I finally got released from the doctor so I can go fishing again.!!   I am in Branson Mo. at beautiful Table Rock Lake, today was day 1 and the first time I have ever went as a co angler. It was different to say the least but I fished with a great pro Travis Fox who caught them pretty good. I only had 1 keeper on the day but the weights are low so if I can catch me around 8 pounds tomorrow I might be ok. Check back tomorrow for the report.

Thanks,
BRS

Richmond Tackle Show

Whats up guys? Sorry I haven't been doing many of these, things have been kind of slow except for therapy twice a week on my elbows. Things are going pretty well they get a little sore at times but no pain no gain......

Hope you have found time to get out and throw the cast-a-brella rig, thats Dave's hot new casatable umbrella rig that guys are out whacking them on.

This weekend we will be in Doswell VA. working the Dave's Tournament Tackle both showing off some great new products from Lew's and also a new product on the market from line-rite innovations called the rod tag. It's a great product to help when you have 15 rods and can't remember what size line is on each rod. It's a product that will save you a ton of time and take the guess work out trying to remember which rod has 15 pound line on it. Come by the both this weekend and check out all the great products we have..

IT'S BO TIME!!
