CBC on Falls Lake
It seems like the fish are bedding very hard right now since the water finally warmed up. Think I will try and do a little sight fishing somewhere this week. Hope you all are able to get out and enjoy some of this warm weather!

Guntersville/High Rock
Hi Guys,
Sorry it's been a while since my last post things have been crazy busy.
Two weeks ago I got to go to one of the best fishing lakes in the country in Lake Guntersville.
That lake is unreal if you ever get the chance jump all over it. The first day was crazy there were 37 bags over 20 pounds weighed in unfortunately I didn't have one of them. I ended the first day with 3 fish for 18 pounds and was in 48th place. The 2nd day didn't go as well, we ran from one end of the lake to the other and could not get anything going I ended up catching 1 fish for 2.5 pounds. It was still a great event and I had a blast down there fishing in the snow.
This past weekend we fished the Anglers Choice tournament at High Rock lake. Anglers Choice has done a great job with there tournament trail, it really is top notch. High Rock is in a slump right now it is really tough at the moment. We only caught 2 fish for 4 pounds and narrowly missed getting a check. Hopefully with the warmer weather things will pick up over there shortly.
Good luck out on the water.
It's BO Time!!

Lake Okeechobee
I was very fortunate to get to spend 2 weeks at Lake Okeechobee for the first Everstart tournament of the year! I have had success on the Big O in the past so I was very much looking forward to this trip and with highs predicted to be in the mid 80's that was just a bonus.
The lake was higher than it has been in probably 15 years. I felt like going in the grass would probably not be as thick and the fish would probably be roaming more. I was hoping that it would be a swimbait type bite. During the tournament the water got up to 75 degrees but for whatever reason the fish had not made a major move to spawn, it seemed after the fact that the better fish were still out on the main lake and had not made there way back to the shallow spawning grounds or maybe that's where they were spawning at was right on the main lake. Whatever the reason it ended up being my worst finish ever at the triple A level,141st. All I can do now is try and learn from it and move on to Guntersville.
It was still a great trip and I had a blast being able to spend a few weeks in south Florida in the middle of January.

Happy Holidays
I have not done a good job of keeping this updated but I will do a better job starting now.
Tonight is the Randleman Christmas parade, we have the boat all decked out and ready to go so look for BO and say hey.
I don't have much going on with with fishing other than getting ready for 2013 and Lake Okeechobee in early January. Fishing had been pretty good around here this fall since it's been kind of warm the fish are still biting.
Hope everyone has a great holiday season!

Late Summer
I haven't been able to have the kind of results I had hoped for in the month of July and there's not much going on in August so I'm going to spend the next month working some kinks out so hopefully I can get things back on track for a busy September. The fishing has been very weird this summer, seems like the fish are really spread out and it's a problem just to get a few bites much less worry about catching any weight. Congrats to Steve Sink though he has pretty much wore everyone out this summer at High Rock. Looks like we have some cooler weather coming so maybe that will get them fired up. Hope everyone gets a chance to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
